Advice for fare filing and exchanges

As passengers rebook travel for future dates, many airlines are waiving change fees on new tickets, and thus, must re-file fares with new rules. Sabre can support these efforts in the following ways:

Products

• Adjust change and refund provisions for previously issued tickets using Fare Filing through ATPCO to avoid manual intervention and easily manage changes to fare rules.


• For any newly issued EMDs, give passengers the flexibility to make changes to their flights with Ancillary and EMD solutions that allow you to refund ancillaries filed via ATPCO or re-associate them to another flight.

Services

• Expedite mass changes to reservations or flight details with SabreSonic Robotic Solutions, developed in less than a week and executed by Sabre on behalf of the airline.


• Keep a select set of PNRs active, even when all segments in the PNR have been cancelled, so it can be re-used by leveraging Intelligence Exchange services.
