Take time to review system access, user permissions and locations management to prevent unauthorized activity
One of the most important things you can do regularly is execute an agency security review and maintain current user and access information for your agency. With all the staffing and customer changes underway in today’s environment, it is a good time to review your security and eliminate these common security risks.
Sabre Employee Profile Records (EPRs) provide individual users access to the system and specific permissions to execute specific activities like ticketing, updating other EPRs or enabling branch access. It is important that you review your active EPRs and ensure they are still needed and have only the required permissions for their job functions. You should review all your EPRs granted keywords and associated permissions to ensure only those required are present.
Agency Branch Access is another area for review to ensure that no unnecessary locations are still enabled, and when enabled, only have the required level of access to protect both you and your customer’s data. Finally, a quick review of your Travel Journal Record (TJR) elements will ensure all settings and protections are in place for future activity.
