Monitor supplier notifications and resolve any specific updates when needed
With all the changes to existing trips and suppliers making processing and policy changes, it is important to regularly monitor notification queues and quickly act on any updates that require agency attention.
Supplier reservation messages should be regularly reviewed when placed in agency notification queues since some will require specific actions by the agency to avoid debit memos and maintain Sabre PNR synchronization with supplier systems (e.g. cancel any HX segments).
While most supplier updates will come to the agency as a PNR update via your agency notification queues, given current volumes and supplier process and policy variability, agencies may also want to use Sabre Spectra, a targeted PNR search solution, to capture and review PNR activity. Agencies should use the comprehensive search and select criteria available for both notification queues and Sabre Spectra to easily sort, identify, prioritize and action specific reservation scenarios.
